Te weinig veerkracht kan ziekte veroorzaken
Ziekte, een operatie of gevorderde leeftijd kan het afweersysteem van honden en katten verzwakken. Ook psychische stress (bijvoorbeeld bij een verhuis, hondenshows, operatie en hospitalisatie) heeft een negatieve invloed op het lichaam.Dit kan ervoor zorgen dat de weerstand afneemt, de prestaties verminderen en zelfs ernstige ziektes ontstaan.

Prevantil®: Een uitgebalanceerde samenstelling

Het extract van cactusvijg  Opuntia ficus indica (TEX-OE®)
De eetbare cactusvijg wordt gekenmerkt door een hoge weerstand tegen het effect van zonlicht, grote hitte en droogte. Het extract onder-steunt de aanmaak van Heat Shock Proteïnen (HSP), waardoor dieren beter beschermd zijn tegen fysiologische en fysieke stress^1,2.

Gistbestanddelen (bètaglucanen)
Deze bestanddelen versterken en onder-steunen de afweer tegen infecties. Ook de natuurlijke darmflora wordt positief beïnvloed^3,4.

Ginseng
Natuurlijke ginsengosiden bevorderen het verstandelijk vermogen bij oudere dieren. Ze kunnen een positieve invloed hebben op het verloop van dementie^5,6,7.

Vitamine E en selenium
Deze stoffen beperken de schade die veroorzaakt kan worden door afvalstoffen van verschillende processen in het lichaam, zoals de vertering of de spierwerking. Ze worden ook wel antioxidanten genoemd⁸.

Vitamine B12
Dit vitamine is cruciaal voor de functie van de zenuwen, de vorming van rode bloedcellen en DNA-synthese⁹.
